Supporting schools. Supporting learners.
House of Orkney Education works alongside primary schools to support children who may need a different environment, a more personalised approach or additional help to engage successfully with education.
From teacher-led Alternative Provision and targeted intervention to in-school inclusion support, we work collaboratively with schools to understand what is getting in the way of learning and what might help a child move forward.
Our approach is calm, relational and highly personalised, with a strong focus on rebuilding confidence, strengthening foundations and creating meaningful routes back into learning.
Because sometimes changing the environment, the approach or the pathway can change what becomes possible for a child.
